To my husband and children I write that I may share the beauty I see in our daily lives. May our short time together be filled and shared amongst each other with the love we can only receive from our Lord above. You are dear to me, my purpose and richest part of my life. I love you.

Sewing My Clothes...
Here is a dress I made last month. I love it because I got to pick out the fabric and it was less than $6.00! I took my old, black (I can't stand to wear black anymore) maternity dress and cut my fabric according to the shape of it. I didn't even have a pattern. I do this a lot! The top part of the dress I bought for $1 a yard. The bottom part I bought for $2.99 a yard. I have a skirt on of the same fabric as the top that I wear underneath my dress when it is cold out. It is very practical to do it this way. I think I will do this with all of my dresses and the girls. I think all that's missing is a pretty pocket that I'll have to make once I'm feeling decent. I love to sew and love to make things to my specifications. And the best part... I just started to sew last May. I have several dresses, aprons I am making to sell (they are to die for), beautiful pillowcases (one out of my pretty dress fabric) and lots more. I will have to start taking and posting more pictures here.

I'm Pregnant Again!!!!
With Three You Will Get Organized, With Four I Will Bring You to Your Knees - by Matthew
O'Lord, our God and Savior you have brought joy and blessings; Now I shall bring you to your knees. I will finish My good work in the two of you. What I have started I will finish. Nothing shall stand in the way of it. I shall remove all the rubble of your ways, I shall build where there are no buildings, I shall give where there has been selfishness. I shall lower and raise. I shall lower you and your wife to your knees that you may drink. Be not frightened for I am with you, be not worried for I will direct your steps. I have brought joy, where the world can bring none. I have brought abundant joy to your house. Count your blessings and you will not be able to number them. What the well planned family calls a family I your God call death, what the house of men call a good plan, I call flesh. Be in joy for tribulation is with you but greater is the joy that is with you. Take your eyes off the things of this world and be of the things of heaven, for I have clothed the lilies, I feed the sparrows, and I can make rocks rejoice. I will continue to fill your house with children for I am God. The fleshly walk after the things of the flesh and the spiritual walk after the things of the spirit. I shall draw the two of you close to me, for the year is not out and the two of you shall grow. The peace of Christ came the storm came and now joy comes, soon so very soon all shall be gone from your house but my Word. Be blessed my children.

Our Happy Little Hannah!
I love Hannah's little joyful spirit. She can be such a doll at times. I love this picture of her. It is one of the black and white's that I was playing with on our camera. I love you Hannah.
Our Delicious Exchange
What do you get....
That's right, every Monday my husband Matthew drives down to Rays Oysters and gives the owner 2 dozen of our farm fresh eggs for a pint of fresh oysters. Now that's a livin'!

Urgent Prayer Needed
Update: Thank God he doesn't have an aneurysm. It's something wrong with his nerve. He's on his way home. That's all I care about now. A lot goes through ones mind when they may lose someone.
My husband will be having a CAT scan in a few minutes as the doctor believes he has an aneurism in the largest vessel running down the leg. This is life threatening. If so, he'll be going by ambulance to Seattle for surgery within the hour. I pray he'll be coming home instead. Things aren't looking good. I'll update later if I can.

More Baby Pictures
Okay, I think this does it. I'm all caught up now. Of course
now I want to download our camera and put up more pictures.

CAT Scan Today...
Today I had a CAT scan done. I've never had one done before but believe I was fortunate. I only had to go through the doughnut hole type machine (not fully enclosed). I've had a pinching, hurting pain to the left of my umbilical area when I cough, sneeze (sharp pain here) or cry. It's been with me for over a month now and has me a little concerned. We would love more children so of course this is my first concern. I'm hoping it's not a hernia or something that would affect future pregnancies. So, please keep us in your prayers. I should find out within a couple of days what the problem is.
Still Catching Up
Here are some more pictures taken several weeks ago. I'm still catching up on posting pictures. I should be caught up with a few more posts or so.
Mommy and Matthew. Something happened to me about a month ago. I was feeding little Matthew and had the strongest feeling of being like a grandma. There was nothing more important to me than feeding my baby and sitting in my chair cuddling him. I know it sounds silly as I'm only 38 years old but it was a feeling that really struck me in my heart. It felt so good and felt really special. I believe it was from the Lord and I am open and looking forward to the Lord bringing me into an older age and maturity in some areas. Some people fight aging, I look forward to it and see it as a beautiful thing.

Turkey dinner again - by Matthew
This is one of our Blue Slate turkeys. We wanted to keep them because they can naturally reproduce but they kept flying away and coming back at night. We don't mean flying over a fence, we expected that but when they started to fly and land on the neighbors barn roof who lives about half a mile it was just to much and when the neighbor told us that they go down to the creek by old nelsons place we knew it was time. We gave away the three smaller turkeys to some nice people but this one saw the pot.

This is me down in front of the barn with the turkey, a new technique I use is to just walk up behind the turkey when he reaches for food, I grab him from behind and flip him upside down. I tie him up and off we go up the hill.
I always us a five pound double edge ax for the killing of the turkey. A lot harder to miss. This bird is now ready for the cone.
In the cone and ready for the plucking bucket.
We use a twenty gallon horse bucket to dunk the birds in - one hundred and forty five degree water and the feathers just come right off. We keep the water hot in the bucket. I am a little slow with plucking still about ten minutes. Have to duck him around three times slosh him around like milk in churner. We love raising our animals gathering from them and eating them.
The box is for the innards, head, feet, tips of wings and feathers. just throw in burn barrel and all is done time to eat in a couple of days.

Little Miss Riding Hood
Elisabeth was trying on little Matthew's outing outfit over her head.
I had to take a picture as she looked like "Little Red Riding Hood" with her little dress on.

Little Hannah
Here's our little Hannah. She's growing up too... but not that much. She's our affectionate one. She could be held all day long. She still cries often when you let her down. She's a sweetie.
Our Elisabeth Growing Up
Elisabeth is still a baby to me in a sense. If you've had kids, you know what I mean. But, I can't help but glance at her once in a while or look at a picture and see how she is changing and growing up so quickly. I look forward to homeschooling her in depth (we're singing the ABC's right now), teaching her how to make a loaf of bread to one day a full Thanksgiving meal. She is beautiful to us in so many ways. I love you Elisabeth.
A Day at the Beach
One day my husband took our girls to the beach and took these beautiful pictures. I believe he takes much better pictures than I. These pictures turned out so well.

Matthew Getting Bigger...
These pictures are of Matthew at about 2 - 2 1/2 months old.
I have some more recent pictures I'll be posting once I get them downloaded.

You'll be able to tell in some of the other photos that I like the sleeping baby pictures.
I think a sleeping baby is one of the most beautiful things in life.
Especially if they are yours and they are in your arms.
