Pretty Little Sun Dress

Here's a few shots of Elisabeth in her pretty little sun dress that my friend Roxi gave her last year. It finally fits!

First Major Rash

Poor Elisabeth... Sometime last night she must have made a mess in her diaper. Mommy had trouble sleeping for half the night so daddy was the one up early to deal with the mess. Her little bottom is still red 12 hours later. See her little expression of discomfort here while she's cooling off her behind in the kitchen sink.

Today was a beautiful day to take these pictures of my husband and daughter. Elisabeth's grandma made the beautiful sweater set before she was born. Isn't she a doll in it?

Now Hannah's on the Way!

Here I am about 20 weeks pregnant with Elisabeth's new sister, Hannah. We prayed that we would conceive right away as we believe the Lord wants us to have 5 children and we aren't getting any younger!

7-9 months - Wiggle Worm!

Yikes! What happened to my little girl? She has become a wiggle worm! I can hardly hold her anymore as she wants to crawl, play, sit and pull herself up all the time. Everyone comments about what a happy baby she is - and boy is she. We love her so very much and thank the Lord for her. She is such a blessing to our lives we couldn't imagine life without her now. Thank You Jesus for the gift of such a child.

About 6 months old

Here Elisabeth was just barely starting to get mobile. Mostly just reaching for and playing with toys. Still such a mama's girl!

This was one of my favorite times with her. She was still so dependent on me; she would fall asleep in my arms or on my breast, she was just so soft and content.

Completed Nursery

Elisabeth is just the best, little sleeper in the whole wide world and I think it's because her daddy put so much time and attention into her little room! Since 3 months old she sleeps from 8:30 pm to 7:30am and a nap from 12:30 to 4:30! She's happy and chipper when she's awake - who can ask for anything more?

Here is a picture of Matthew working on Elisabeth's room last year. We live in a 1932 farm house and this is the old part of the home. It's a beautiful nursery now!

Discovery of the Blog

We've discovered the wonderful world of the blog spot! Had we discovered this before, we surely would have started blogging before Elisabeth was born. Today Elisabeth is 8 1/2 months old and mommy is 18 weeks pregnant with her brother or sister. We will find out who this dear little soul will be in about 9 days at our ultrasound.

Because I have just discovered this website, I will be doing some catch up work regarding our family the past year and a half. This will include pictures, writings, etc... to current. Thank you for your patience.
